Tres nits fora de casa (Three Nights Away from Home)

Marta Romagosa, writer

A reflection on being in your fifties, a period of your life when it seems that everything is already done, but that allows us to look back and start over again.

Synopsis

Marta Romagosa tells the story of a group of women, all of them friends, who meet in the same place in the summer. Tres nits fora de casa shows their friendship in different moments of their lives. The author talks about what it’s like to be a woman in her fifties now, about the distorting mirror of expectations, and about the excitement you feel when you are young against the reality of growing up. They offer us a glimpse into the past from the point of view of aging.

A time and a place to be young again, to tell each other about their life and to avoid everyday reality.

What if at the age of fifty everything was still waiting to be done? Marta Romagosa shows that friendship is the fuel for a new beginning.
