Supergermans (Supersiblings)

Pema Maymó, writer / Alicia Teba, illustrator

A mix between Toy Story and Mary Poppins that little kids will surely love.

Synopsis

Pepe and Valentina are now older siblings. And they both share the same concern: their little sister. An unbearable baby who screams, cries… and has taken over their room! One night, while everyone is sleeping, Pepe hears a voice in his little sister’s crib. But she can’t speak yet, so… who might it be? Feeling frightened, Pepe and Valentina discover that the cuddly toys have come to life and are planning a huge rebellion. And nothing and no one will change their minds. Will the Supersiblings be able to control the situation? Will they find a solution for this unexpected riot?

When they both face the same problem, the SUPERSIBLINGS set aside their differences and come together to solve it.

As real as life: the relationship between siblings is never easy, but when they have the same goal, they don’t stop until they achieve it.

It includes rivalry and jealousy, good times, teamwork, fantasy, a touch of mystery and humour. A lot of humour. Something parents will perfectly understand. Having a brother or a sister isn’t so bad — they can often be very helpful.

About the author

Pema Maymó

In Pema Maymo’s childhood room there were always lots of cuddly toys. She loved how soft and warm they were, and she would tell them stories where they were the main characters. Now that she has grown up and is a mother to three Supersiblings, she makes up stories for them. She is still in love with her cuddly toys and whenever she goes back to her childhood room in Mallorca, they’re always waiting for her, her stories and her adventures.
