Sílvia Soler is a journalist and author of collections of short stories and novels, including El centre exacte de la nit (1992), El son dels volcans (1998) i L’arbre de Judes (2001). With Mira’m als ulls he won the Fiter i Rossell Prize in 2003 and with Petons de diumenge (2008), the Prudenci Bertrana Prize 2008.
