Biography

• Muriel Villanueva has written over twenty books.

Muriel Villanueva is a writer, writing teacher, graduated in Music Education and holds a degree in Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature. She has published almost thirty books for all ages and she has been translated into Spanish, English, Polish, Portuguese, Chinese and Korean, and awarded a dozen literary prizes. Her works for children and young people include Duna, Dunes (Premi Llibreter), Rut Sense Hac (Premi Carlemany) and Digueu-me Ju (nominated for the Premi Menjallibres). Adult readers find her,  among many other books, in La gatera (Homemade Prize, Valencian writers Critics Prize) and Semiidentics
