Eudald Carbonell

Biography

Eudald Carbonell was born in Ribes de Freser (Girona) in 1953. He is a professor of Prehistory at Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona, and co-director of the First Inhabitants of Atapuerca project. He is the recipient of many prestigious scientific and technical awards. He is also a board member of the Prehistory Department, Musée de l’Homme, Paris. Carbonell has written for over 250 specialist publications and is the author of more than fifteen popular science books.
